Johnny started out as a Bass player and in 1992 toured Asia with Celebrity Impersonators. In 1994, Patrick, Johnny's Father organized the setting up of stadium venues in India and from there they became involved with Stadium show production. Johnny moved to Hong Kong in 1997 as he was hired as the Managing Director of an events company, while Patrick took care of business stateside. Johnny's job functions included, booking talent (Corporate Events & Hotel Bookings), promotions, show production and artist management for various events throughout Asia including “The Hand Over Concert” when Hong Kong was handed back to China. Over the years Johnny has spent his career building rapport with Concert Promoters, Event & Hotel Organizers, and Record Label executive through out Asia. Johnny’s key to success is what he calls the three R’s of doing business in Asia, Rapport, Respect and Relationships and with over 1.4 million miles flown on Delta airlines; Johnny states, “My passport is my resume”. Johnny has spent many years and miles establishing relationships, which according to Johnny is something that money can’t buy.
In Loving Memory of Patrick Mendola
My Dad was the key instrument to starting our music business legacy. We were able to travel the world together and work side-by-side for many years. He became ill with cancer in 2012 and as a family we took a sabbatical from the music business until my Father passed away in May of 2015. We are continuing on where my Father left off (as he would have wanted), for 2016 we are focusing on advertising and promoting our artists in Asia!
